About Alison Oh

Alison is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) providing individual, couples, and family therapy. She specializes in mood and anxiety disorders, depression, stress management, relational issues, and trauma. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients with severe psychopathology in various settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospital, academic medical center, residential treatment center, and juvenile detention center.

Most recently, she has worked as a psychotherapist in private practice providing individual and couples therapy. Additionally, she has worked as a clinic coordinator/psychometrician at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Neuropsychiatric Institute facilitating neuropsychological evaluations whilst working as a part-time research assistant.

She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and obtained her Masters in Clinical Counseling from Eastern Illinois University. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
